Stay1Day searches through useful accommodations. Only the accommodations near highways. This way we try to help people finding an overnight stay on their way to their holiday or business location. Search for the city you want to stay and we show you all the registered accommodations. Read more about How Stay1Day works.

No, that is not yet possible. Only owners or employees of an accommodation may add a accommodation. For more information you can read the Terms of Service.
How can I sign up for this site?
Only owners and employees of accommodations may register on Stay1Day. Sign up.
What are the differences between the accommodations?
Hotel
A hotel is the most common accommodation and generally the largest and luxurious of all. Hotel rooms normally provides a private bathroom, television, telephone, mini-bar and something to make coffee and tea. They usually offer breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Motel
A motel is a motorists hotel which is focused on short term stays. It is usually found along main roads.
Bed and Breakfast
A bed and breakfast (or B&B) normally only offers overnight accommodation and breakfast. Bed and breakfasts are private homes with a maximum of 10 rooms.
Guest House
A Guest House is generally a private home which partly serves as a guest accommodation. The other part of the building is normally the house of the owner. The difference between a Guest House and B&B is that a Guest House offers all kinds of meals and not only breakfast.
Hostel
Hostels are focused on backpackers. They often have bunk beds in shared bedrooms, but private rooms are also offered. Some hostels provide breakfast and other meals.
Private Home
Private Homes are mostly to rent during tourism seasons and offers no special facilities.
Camping
A camping is an area where you can stay overnight using a tent, camper or caravan. Some campings offer mobile homes.

How can I report wrong information?
On each accommodation page you'll see a tiny map. Under this map you'll see the text "Report this page". If you click on it you can fill in a form so you can let us now there is wrong information on that page.

What can I do if the map on the searchpage doesn't work?
Normally it would work, but if so there are two tabs on the search page which says "Show results on map" and "Show results in text". Click on the tab "Show results in text" and you can find all the accommodations which matches your search.
What can I do if the map jumps to a city with the same name but it's located in another country?
If the map jumps to a city with the same name but it's located in another country you can try to search for "Almere The Netherlands" instead of "Almere" for example.
Account
How can I retrieve my password?
Go to the page Forgot password to retrieve your password.
How can I change my password?
Login at the top of the page and go to your profile. The rest explains itself when you're there.
How can I edit my accommodation?
Login at the top of the page and go to your profile. If you have submitted an accommodation then you can edit it there. If you haven't submitted an accommodation then you have to sign up first and add an accommodation. You can't edit an accommodation which is not yours. If you see wrong information, then report the wrong information or contact us.
