Hi there, my name is Edo Wierenga and I'm the founder and owner of Stay1Day. I live in Zwolle, The Netherlands, and I have made this site because I personally missed a clear, comprehensive, and open website with accommodations near European highways. Each year I travel with my girlfriend on holiday through Europe. We often have to spend the night somewhere so we can hit the road early the next morning. Since we want to be back on the road as quickly as possible the next morning, we like to stay somewhere close to the highway. For this purpose I made this site to help you (and ourselves) with an overnight stay near the highway.
Stay1Day is a site for European travelers. We focus on places where you can easily stay for one day, when you are on your way to your final destination. For instance when you are on a holiday or on a businesstrip. Our unique database contains accommodations from all over Europe and shows you all accommodations near city highways. When you found a place to stay you can easily contact the owner. Via the "Book now" button (if available) or email you can make your reservation.
